you should know the fert mix composition that is what chemicals there are in it, to see if they are compatible with hydro. all N sources must be nitrates. what I do is I buy chemicals in parts and I mix them myself so I can make veg and flowering mix with literally cents and not dollars. I bought calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate, magnesium sulfate, mono-potassium phosphate, trace elements mix, phosphoric acid, and 35%H2O2. results are perfect, I prefer it 10 folds over GH or any other grade A hydro ferts. if you want more knowledge on this let me know I can help
