Using my clone machine for not-clones?

I've just recently built a make-shift home-made aeroponic grow room in my closet. Its just basically designed to put clones in, and I've got it all setup to spray a find mist in the tank I have built as well. The plant will basically stay in a sponge and the roots will dangle inside the tank, and while their leaves are on the outside receiving all the lights.

One problem though.. No plants ><
I've got a few seeds that I am currently germinating though. Those seeds I will grow into little plants in some soil onto of the tank. So heres my question...

Could I possibly take those plants that I have grown in soil when they are old enough for the styrophome cup they are going to be in, and use some water to remove the dirt and expose the root. And then use my cloning machine to do the rest of the work for my plants?

Pictures of this great build will come soon once I get little sprouts of green showing :)
Thanks for any help I can recieve

you should have a medium to hold the plant up somehow anyway, start it in rockwool. use the rockwool to hold it in the system... or a sponge.

Thanks for the responses, sorry about my terrible writing.. I was incredibly baked when I wrote that :)

As for what I have now... The seeds are looking great, germinated them in a paper towel and water. Their in soil now and it looks like 1 is sprouting. (I also tried looking for rockwool, but their wasn't any at the 3 nurseries I went too)

So my plans are to now figure out which one of the 4 seeds is female, and then I'm going to take clones from that and put them in my cloning machine. Then I'm going to take clones from those clones and see I can gender them under a 12 hour light.

Hooray for aeroponics!
