Using molasses questions

ok so ive picked up some blackstrap molasses to use during flowering.
most people say to use 1-2 teaspoons per gallon of water. do i then proceed to use the entire gallon per plant?
also since molasses is sugary, if im doing this outdoors in the woods will it attract critters? that would obviously be bad lol..

I mix at 1 tsp per gallon, mix it thoroughly, and then water normally. I've never used it outdoors, but I have heard deer are fond of molasses. Do you have your plants protected?

well i have some cages around them but i feel like if a deer really wanted to get at that sucka they could collapse the cages or something idk.... but again, you use the whole gallon mixed per plant? just wondering cuz i havent watered my plants once it rains every 3 or 4 days or so so havent really had to..

You don't have to use the full gallon per plant, just water as normal. You use molasses to feed micro life in the soil and to give your plants some sugar. You could give them a little molasses every week from here until flowering.

Hopefully the cage is enough discouragement for the deer, but if there isn't much to stop them.

dont use the molasses in the woods. bugs will be all over that. and dont flood your plant with a gallon of water if your soil is wet. overwatering is easy

shit i already used some in the woods.... hopefully its ok i checked it today (used it yesturday) and didnt really see any new bugs hanging out
