using fake birds to keep insects away

would placing fake birds or owls around an outdoor grow site keep pests like caterpillars etc. away? just thought of this.


and while i have your attention i have another question. How would i wire pc fans to a pc psu? i understand that i need to short the green and black wires with a paperclip, but where do i plug the fan in?
 
Dude are you serious lol not sure that would work if so
just put up a scarecrow i grow outdoors there is a few things
i use diatomaceous earth around base of plant will keep
most crawling bugs out cuts them up as there soft
 
An owl would work to to keep away birds..Insects aren't that smart. They'll come either way...they show up and birds eat them or show up and insecticide killsem.
