using cfl's but......

hi there,
im using a 300 watt dual spectrum cfl for vegging and flowering,
the thing is i can only use my hps for short periods of time (1/2 hours)
would it be beneficial to give my plants 2 hours a day under the hps and the rest of the light cycle under the cfl's?

for example my cfl's turn on at 8am i could switch to the hps around 12 midday untill 2pm then back to the cfl, kind of like the midday sun

by the way the temp in the hps cupboard does say 94 in that pic but i have since added a larger fan and am able to get the temp to stay at 79/81

by the way its a 600watt hps in a supernova reflector, box size is 38 inches high/24 inches wide/28 inches deep,
the cfl cupboard is 300watt dual spectrum box size roughly 24 inches wide 24 inches high 12 inches deep

anyone? dont mean to rush but i have my plants under the hps now and dont want to harm them in anyway!
