Using Boveda packets to bring humidity down?

I am curious to know if anyone has used Boveda packets in their jars before the flowers are at their desired <65%. I have no doubt it would help, but does it change taste, smell, etc.?

I have definitely used Boveda packets on flower I felt was too dry in the beginning of the curing process, but I removed them after I felt the packet did what I needed, and until holding at <65%.

I am dealing with some high RH levels and am trying to level the playing field between me and mother nature.

I've only used the Boveda 62s for one harvest so far, but I tell you what, I will use them everytime moving forward. I don't have to fuck with a hygrometer, just dry the shit and jar it up with one of the packs in the jar and check on it every other day.

I haven't noticed any difference in taste/smell, but I don't have a control group either...all I know is this Super Lemon Haze is the shit ;)

Interesting. That's what I keep hearing. I am running some controls with the Boveda packets and a Cvault as well, follow the thread if you're interested. I definitely still use a hygrometer because the summer weather where I am is highly deceptive. I use it more to find out what's going on outside the jars more then in them.
