Using a chain for bending my plant, good or bad idea?

As the title says...my biggest girl is getting too tall for her current space so I had to bend her down....and the only thing handy was a chain that you use to hang a 4 foot CFL tube thing...will that hurt my girl? It's holding my plant about 2 inches below the cola to the wall, slightly bending my plant down to get more light on the cola. Is using metal a bad idea?

you can bend them tons. ever hear of stress training or super cropping?

Just watch out that whatever its hooked to isnt too tight and the plant grow around it, I used cut up and bent coathangers as stakes to LST my young plants, and the stems grew so thick so fast that about 5 of them are now part of the various plants.
