Congratulations, we’ve done it!
Michigan has legalized possession and cultivation of cannabis.

Sure there are still some hurdles and legal battles ahead, but you can’t get arrested for smelling like cannabis, having a joint in your pocket, or smoking in the home you own.

Now let’s all celebrate!!

Sick of the attitude re medical marijuana in the south. Born in Detroit many decades ago. Husband can transfer on his job to an area east of Detroit. Can anyone tell me best areas to look for rental house near there? Thankful for any suggestions.

Madison Heights, Hazel Park, Warren, St Clair Shores are all solid suburbs ~15 minutes north of Detroit. Typical houses range around $600-$1000/mo to rent. Sterling Heights and Clinton Twp are 25 minutes north, a little nicer and more expensive. Further than that is either very upscale suburbia or more affordable but a bit middle-of-nowhere.
