ok so I have a plant about 2 ft tall I guess it had stem rot on the bottom because the fuckin stem snapped by itself at the base do u think I can save the plant? I put it in a cup of water and it looks like shit
I'm not an expert, but maybe you can treat it like a clone: cut the stem at a 45º angle, dip it in some rooting hormone and place in a soil-less mixture of some sort. If it's a big branch, then obviously you will need to support it to keep it from tipping over. I have read that Superthrive is good for helping establish roots to clones and seedlings, so it might be beneficial to scrape up some loose change and get a bottle if you can.
That would be what I try if this happened to me. Good luck.
If you wanna grow your going to need a few peso You need to put up a pic! It sounds like a real nightmare Like the other dude said treat it like clone but it don't look good even without a pic
How did this happen? No its dead forget it, its not a fresh cut rose you pop in a glass of water, its a 2ft plant severed at the trunk, goodnight.
Was it rotten? did you overwater? was it termites as they basically eat the trunk out from the bottom?
i didnt read any responses...but, what i got from your post is, the stem snapd from rot, and you have no mony for a rooting hormone to save the plant?.....just put the plant in a cup of water, it will root eventualy, might take forever , but it will
I just trew it away I did smoke the growing tips though heehee, I have 17 more plants ya I figured it was a gonner it had stem rot cause it's in rockwool it's wet all the time stem rot is affecting like 3 or 4 more of my other plants
