Urgent Help [PICS]

I just got these "clones" which are apparently from a mother tree. I don't know anything about growing just yet, so I can't tell if this is okay. I took these pictures while changing out the water that they are sitting in (I have them in a baby bottle with a paper towel in the bottom filled halfway full with water). I've been sitting them outside during the day and under 3 15w CFL's at night time in my closet. I would put them in soil, but I am going to be putting them in an aerogarden when it gets here on Tuesday. Until then I'm just going to leave it in the bottle and change the water every other day (I boil it first to get out all the impurities).

Can somebody tell me if these are healthy/what clones are supposed to look like? Some of the leaves are yellow and although they are purple haze clones, I feel like the stem is way too purple.

clone looks shitty, take all the small leaves off, or at least trim the top 1/3rd of them. also you dont want to be taking it in and out of the container. Do you have a rooting hormone? what ph water do you keep it sitting in, it should be around 5.5. leaves will yellow naturally while the plant grows roots the leaves are feeding it

I don't personally have a rooting hormone. He told me this was all I would need. The water's ph is unknown. It's just tap water that has been boiled and then cooled back down to room temperature. My aerogarden should come with one, so I'll measure it when it gets here. Until then, is there anything else I should know? Is what I'm doing to keep it alive appropriate?

when you put the clone in a jar you should have a growing medium other than a papertowel, something for the roots to grab onto. get some rockwool, or even easier get some vermiculite put the clone in it and keep the vermiculite moist. also if you cant afford a digital ph meter get some ph test strips and some ph up and ph down. in vermiculite try to keep ph between 6.2 - 6.8 and in your aero garden 5.2 - 5.8. until then read this GROWFAQ
