Urgent Care Needed

Hello, I am a first-time grower and I am having some plant problems. Let me run you through the symptoms:
- Yellowing leaves
- Dark "rust" looking spots
- Severe drooping
- Possible stunted growth

What I am running them on is a 400 W indoor watering system, known as the "Cool Cab" by Sunlight Sheds. At first I thought that maybe they were being over watered so I cut all the water to the hoses for 12 hrs and no change. Also, I have been adding FloraNova Grow (2 teaspoons) and Floralicious Vitamin Mix (.5-1 teaspoon) to the resevoir once a week. But today because I am growing increasingly concerned I flushed the plants completely. Additionally, it is noteworthy that I had been running these babies without an air pump for the last 2-2.5 weeks. I hadn't even noticed that Sunlight sheds hadn't sent me one. So, I bought one today and placed it inside the resevoir. As for the overall age of the plants i'd guesstimate 2.5-3.5 weeks (2+ weeks in my care). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

** EDIT **

My PH is steady at 7-7.5 and my temps are (68 F - 86 F), humidity = 45-50.

Im trying to post pics and it says my image size is too large @ 3648 x 2736 .. In order to attach the files this website requires 800 X 800, does anyone know how I can resize my pictures or another way to post them? thanks...

Yea, ph is way to high. It is probably locking out nutes. That would explain the dead looken leaves.

There is a cool cab thread somewhere. You might try them. That ph is high if it is for the water. Are you trying for 7-7.5?

Alright, well I was under the impression that the pH was supposed to be 6-7.5, and I am hesitant to put any pH down in at the moment as I am trying for the water-only flush. What should the pH be at? And should I add pH down?

my guess is looks like nute burn mixed with too much water and too high of ph for hydro i hear you are aiming for 5.8 how much nutes are you using how often are you watering i know you said you stopped for 12 hours but maybe you should try less often watering and be patient with your patients, looks like a friggin er i would be so pissed if i were you

The instruction says to do about a drop of water per second, thus thats what I am doing. However, the roots have also grown to a point that they are hanging down into the tub of water. Any advice would be great...

As for the nutes, I added 2 Teaspoons of FloraNova Grow and (.5-1teaspoon of Floralicious plus vitamin mix). Obviously, I have flushed since then because of what I saw. I thinkn i'm going attempt to bring the PH down and maybe only add the floralicious plus vitamin mix next time? Input needed!!

that may be what the instructions say but instructions are for idiots, no offense, they are more like guidelines in my opinion if it's ruining your shit do something different i mean what do you have to lose?

ok.. so i've successfully lowered the ph to 6, and plan on keeping it there...must maintain steady pH. I need to save these guys, please help! Any other ideas...

I'm not a hydro guy. It is very important to have the proper ph though. You will see improvement just in fixing that. Maybe try a thread over in the hydro section to get advice on the rest of your set-up?

Good luck.

I had the same thing happen to some of mine. Being in hydro, you need to keep the water flowing 24 hrs and keep it filled to the line as close as possible. I'm pretty sure its nute lockout due to your ph being too high. Keep it down and don't shy away from the nutes for too long. Use about 1/3 the recommended amount ever time or every other time you water. Flush every other or every 3rd watering and they'll start to perk up. If you get burn marks and curling like I had trim off the worst leaves. It'll be OK. Sexing is right around the corner.

I already cut off the worst of the leaves, the plants are still looking icky. However, keeping the pH at 6, and I just added a tiny does of the Floralicious plus vitamin mix. It is a N-P-K nutrient. How long till I should see some progress? 1-3 of them are already so bad that I may have to press on w/o them. Also, the water is still flowing 24/7, trying to put it on a much slower drop pattern though. Advice still needed...

What is your hummity level? If it's too hummid for too long, the plants can't Sweet, This can cause them to droop and turn yellow. I had a similar problem and tried everything to fix it, PH, Nutes, Temp, and I couldn't I posted photos and it was addressed by another member of RIU. He asked what my RH was, I said what RH. It was the Relitive Hummidity. I got it down to 25 - 30 % Now they have made a full recovery. If it stays steady above 60% it way to high. Even 45% is too high. If thats a problem, Some good Occelating fans can help to fix it..

The humidity varies from 30 (absolute lowest) during daylight hours to 40-45ish during the night time hours. I'll see what I can do..haven't seen any change yet and I think I am going to need to bury 3 of my 14 babies. Still looking...

That should be fine, Are you sure it's not to hot in there? PH is important, why dont you try this. Get ready to flush one of your plants. Buy a bag of promix or some other good potting mix, and some Amonium Sulfate (this will lower your PH). Get a large pot (at least twice the size your in now) Fill it half way with the new potting mix. Now, flush your plant with 5 gallons of Distilled water at room temp (first add 1 table spoon of Amonium Sulfate to each gallon of Distilled... Give it 10 minutes and then reach your hands down the sides of your pot and pull out your whole plant, along with the roots and most of the wet soil you just flushed, now put it into the new pot and fill the sides with clean potting mix. Keep that plant in a cooler place, such as windowsill or just in your room near a regular lamp. It should bounce back within a couple of hours. Doing this will: A, change your PH. B, Cool down the plant, B, flush out any bad nutes and C, change it's envoirment. If this doesn't work, Nothing will.. Let me know if you do it...

Ok, so i've flushed a couple days ago now, added maybe 1/4 the needed nutes and taken humidity down...the plants are still looking very sick. Two of them are all but dead now ;-(...

You smoking crack? 45-60 percent RH is ideal for vegging. This is the stage this guy is still at right? A lower RH is good when flowering.
