Urgent alert for medical cannabis patients!

I lifted this from another website...it looks to be very important to us:

We have an URGENT ALERT for all of the patients here in Washington!
The legislature is getting ready to vote on Senate Bill 6265. This bill will be
a disaster for patients in Washington State. This bill calls for a state run patient
registry. Currently only sex offenders are required to register with the state.

Everyone in law enforcement will have access to your information. To make
matters worse, patients will be forced to pay for all of the costs associated with
the registry. This will amount to millions of dollars over the next two years!
The bill will also allow every city, town and county to make up their own
medical cannabis regulations.

This includes limiting the number of plants and the
amount of medication you can possess. We predict that most cities will ban
collectives and non-profit cooperatives altogether. This will mean that Seattle will
be the only city where you can get medication and assure that no patient in
Eastern Washington will have safe access to medication.
If passed, this bill will gut medical cannabis law here in Washington.

We are asking ALL patients to call the Washington State Legislative Hotline at:
1-800-562-6000
Just tell the operator that you’re a medical cannabis patient and that you
absolutely oppose Senate Bill 6265!

You should also call your two State Representatives and your state
Senator. If you don’t know who they are, you can go to this site and put in your
address and it will look them up for you and give you their phone numbers in
Olympia:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/Default.aspx

You’ve probably never done this before and you may be a little nervous
about what to say, but it’s really very simple. The person answering the phone is
just there to pass along your message to your legislator. They will ask you for
you address to determine that your message gets to the right representatives.

Then all you need to tell them is that you’re a medical cannabis patient and tell
them that you oppose Senate Bill 6265. They will report all these calls and,
believe it or not, this really does effect how they vote on a bill. Your call really
can make a difference by simply making the calls!
Please pass this along to all of your friends and relatives as well! We need all
the support we can get.

This is URGENT!

Please call today.

You’ll be very sorry if you do nothing and this bill is passed simply
because patients don’t take action to stop it.

Yeah their is alot of rediculous shit going on right now with them trying to make laws and erase the grey area. Fuckin bs. If we didnt have people out for the cash they would realize that it would work if they just left it alone.. I am ok with a grey area!

to even give local police dept a list of MJ patients is abuse of medical privacy.....noone has the right to view your medical records unless you give them permission

anytime you get pulled of for anything you automatically come up as a mmj patient because of the list...now that opens you up to automatic MJ DUI testing or automactic car search...or who knows what else

Even if you try to run a State legal MMJ co-op in any MJ State .....try paying your Federal taxes and take any standard deductions as any other business would....You cant... they will audit you....you owe on the entire sum before deductions.....you get no tax deductions

The IRS is even offering people $$$ for turning in MMJ stores for tax evasion.... they offer 10-30 % of the offence if found guilty

This doesn't make sense. WA and CO petitioned Obama to decriminalize MJ. What is the state legislature's argument for this list?

But the po po can already verify mmj patients.......they dont need a list

when you get your card here in Washington you also get 2 authoriization papers....its gives a phone## and a website to verify patient authenticity

I carry my MJ card on my person and my transport papers that has my MJ patient id ##, the website to verify and a phone ### to verify.... soooo WTF

If you carry weed in your car or on your person .. you must have your state id, mj id and transport papers....

That's my point. I don't understand the selling point for the legislatures when we, and CO, are asking for decriminalization on a national level.

^^^^It's about controlling people and the market. Why is it difficult to understand? There is a lot of money being made, they want their cut on everything. They want to push people out that aren't giving them their cut. It's no different then any other industry. There is no such thing as capitalism anymore, only corporatism. Big business lobby politicians to impose regulations. Regulations squeeze out the little guys. Only the big guys remain. A few people make all the money and kick up their share to the powers that be for maintaining the status quo. They all get together to smoke cigars and celebrate their status as the masters of the universe once a year or so. Same shit different day for as long as there has been industry. It's the current model for our entire global economy.

For what it's worth, here in Maine we had a patient registry and it didnt' work out. They very quickly amended the law to remove it, or actually made it optional.

In 2009, after having a very weak mmj law for about 10 years, Maine passed a citizen referendum to make a more liberal law and also allow some dispensaries. Part of that law, or the adopted rules to administer it, included a mandatory patient and caregiver registry. I guess some in the legislature rightfully saw this as a privacy issue and amended the law last summer to make registration optional for patients. Caregivers still have to register and pay a fee.

I got tired of buying wet weed about 25 yrs ago....I started growing my own and havent had to buy any weed for myself and my family at all since then

Do you know how much I have saved in $$$ over the years not having to purchase any weed....4 oz a month times 25 years @250 $300,000

Hit up a reputable seed vendor.....seek out a keeper and clone the hell out of her....I have a strain that i have cloned since day 1

Find a solution to your problem...dont rely on someone else to supply a simple thing as your THC.... IF everyone grew their own the stores and greed for weed would be obsolete

Thats why websites like this one and alot of others are around to help free the weed
