Oh and please dont reccomend all this stuff. I have no idea what the heck all this can be good for. Maybe one of them...
No you actually don't "need" anything more than just your base, you shouldn't even need cal/mag if it's a quality base, unless your growing under LED's then you might need some extra cal/mag.

What does growing under leds have to do with calmag??
All ive ever heard was if your using RO water that calmag was usually needed because its so clean. I guess the old saying, ya learn something new everyday, is going to come true today for me...

Not sure, but people who grow under LED's say they need extra cal/mag most of the time...Yea I've heard the same thing about using RO water, but I use straight RO water and I ever use a cal/mag supplement.

He is correct in saying that you may need Calcium supplemented only in flowering if you use the older style LED its to do with a certain red nano-meter.

I can't believe how many people get swindled into AN as their first nutrient...

Swindled?

When i started out, totally green to any kind of growing...all the unknowns were all quite overwhelming...

So to eliminate one of those unknowns, i went with a product that was well known to work excellently...yes AN. By doing that i knew that if there was a problem there would be one less thing to consider... and that alone was worth the extra money...

And once a guy gets some experience and therefore eliminates so many other unknowns...then the fine tuning comes in...like messing with your nutes....

AN is perfect for the newb. Easy peasy... and that is worth something....

Arguing on the internet is a sure fire way of making someone think one is a douchebag so instead of arguing I ask you. Why is it that one can get similar if not better results using JUST gh micro/bloom lucas formula as you do with AN? And if it is just because nutrients are nutrients wouldn't you be smarter saving a few bucks and even eco friendly ;) not tossing all those extra bottles in the recycle.

Just sayin bruh, results can be had from many other nutrient mumbo jumbo and you can do it with a lot less money. Doesn't mean you are wrong for spending more money than me but at the same time it doesn't make you smart.

Ya exactly...they can.

Problem is that lucas formula and fox farms and others arent available here. AN is...

But i wasnt arguing with anyone or implying that anyone was a douchbag...only douchebags do that...

I was merely explaining that AN is good for newbs... it is a proven product...nobody disputes that... so it eliminates one of the many overwhelming unknowns when you first start growing...

Or cant you read?
