just thought I'd throw this out there.... since as i've been reading and learning (as Im a Noob kind of , myself) ...I havent seen much info on this .... but Im encountering it happening ...and Ive learned something small ....but maybe helpful to someone else out there....
if you have multiple plants in DWC...and they start to get big enough to start haveing roots get tangled......(this might work when removing males too ...I havent encountered THAt yet) I have found ....that untangling them UNDERWATER.... is 10 times easier .... than trying to untangle them while holding them out of water .
I have found a technique of swooshing the roots slowly towards then away each other(but without tension)( and I mean swooshing over and over again .....sometimes 5 times...sometimes maybe 15 times)...and doing this underwater....can slowly untangle them, with minimal root breakage, and I've even untangled some pretty tangled ones (it just took longer to accomplish.
