Uneven Bud Development

Hey guys.
I have a hindu skunk plant outdoor in flower. It seems like the buds on one side are way bigger and frostier. The plant gets pretty good light but I'm wondering if maybe the late afternoon sun is better, which would explain the growth on that side. If the sun is whats causing this, will I risk confusing the plant if I turn it 90 or 180 degrees? Thanks

At least you have the option to turn it! Be happy you didn't plant it in the ground next to a tall fence

Here's what I think you should do. I think you should spend some time watching your plants during the day since the light is changing.

You want to see what your plants are seeing and experiencing all day, especially as the weather is changing in most places.

Feel good you can rotate it.got 1outdoors my self.inground,about 3limbs from top someone or some thing .took a lil chunk. Would not make a good bowl.you lucky u canmove it.

ha a old school grower and i were just talking about this, and then another old school buddy told me not to turn the plants something to do with the flowers that get the most light product the most hormones but if you change that it confuses the plant . . .best to just do some extra trimming early in flower . . which is now . . .?

Thanks for all the replies. I'll post some pics later of my situation. I ended up turning it 180 and I put some cardboard I painted white angled to the other side to get some extra light over there. Hope I didnt F anything up!

uneven light probably but this is why i tie em down,My plants have all the branches on one side and a few calyxes on the back side.
