Underwatering, Can it Lead to a Cal issue?

Hey guys, post number 1 for me here. Plan to start a detailed journal on my next run but have a quick question for the more informed. I recently had a group of plants that were being underwatered. They were sucking down their water before I could get to them, I was late by a few hrs for just about a week! Now I have a few plants that are a lighter green up top showing what I've seen online as signs of cal def. I know the problem was the underwatering but does that cause the cal to become hard for the plant to take up? They are looking like a coco grow I just seen where the guy wasn't feeding with cal. I have a group of plants that weren't underwatered and they are a nice even green, looking pretty and don't need a thing..... Any info appreciated.

Not just calcium but all nutrients except C02 maybe.

Thanks for the link. Kinda what I had thought just haven't seen signs of anything else besides them being a lighter green up top. Link put it into perspective for me though. Thanks again.

Sry no pics at the moment. Have a new camera on order and plan on doing a journal worth following on my next go.
