undercover sheriff

so i went out this morning to have a cigarette and a drive. i drove up a steet with alot of apartments and pulled through a few of the driveays burning time. and when i get back to my house i get pulled over by an underover sheriff. he asked me my name 3 times and a marked police car showed up.
he kept asking me for my id or if i had one i told him i didnt have one on me it was inside i was just out smoking a cigarette and getting away from the house. he asked me to pull down my shirt im guessing to check for tatoos. than said ok your not the guy turned around and gave the other cop a thumbs up... and grabed a puicture out of his car and showed it to him. he didnt wright anything down before he left and didnt look at me.
the cop gave me a wave back when he left, do you think i should panic at this point or mark it off as mistaken identity, ive been harassed like this before from other places aparently i fit alot of descriptions. im thinking they just thought they had someone else but would definatly apreciat some more input of what other think.

cigerettes not weed. i dont smoke outside of the house. the thumbs up thing kind of bothers me but it could of just been him letting the marked cop know its fine your good to go.

Maybe those apartments have been having car break-ins or something. From where a cop sits you look pretty suspicious cruising up and down parking lots. Certainly arouses curiosity if you're the snoopy kind.

thanks haha yeah thats what i thouhg. i was definatly nerviouse as fuck but didnt let it show i was trying to ask him if i can park and whats going on. good thing he didnt see my lock my damn keys in the car when he left. fucking asshole cops. the main reason i was so nerviouse was i had a dream last night i got poped by the cops, and had this general all around feeling i was going to run into them today. hopefully thats all of it.

had this cop come back w/ my registration (for having a headlight out) and he comes back to my car and asks if there is any marijuana in the car and i was like idk why you would think that, he goes "your registration smells like marijuana" i was in my parents car! fucking pieces of shit...supposed to be keeping the peace, not harrasing harmless people
