Im scaterbrained as i cant figure out if buying an under current system includes an epicenter. Or is it bought seperatly? Thx

i am under the impression that for the most part the epicenter will come with it but of course read the fine print before doing anything.

Weell the instructions show it as part 1 but on the description where it has parts it comes with it says 8 gallon growth modules but nothing about the epi. Guess i woll try to email them

Why not build what you need? Even if you are not mechanicly inclined , there is enough step by step information out there to walk you thru eveything .

because in no way could I or anyone else build the same product. im down with diy but there is no way it is worth building for the quality of product cch2o offers

LOL...Anyone could build an undercurrent knock off for 1/4 the price. The only component that is hard to find is the new black 8 & 13 gal modules. Actually its not hard if you want to buy a trailer load of them.

Or you could just use totes? The ruffneck black ones are great, and I think they make a 10 gallon.

Totes work fine too.

Why 2 water pumps?

I made that list a while back when I was thinking about getting 2 separate systems running to stagger harvests.

Haha...didn't realize I posted the same thing in two different texts using different words...I must be stoned! ;)

Yea .. I would say what I built is better then what they sale at a fraction of cost. I use tank fitting on mine instead of leaking uniseals .

Epicenter comes w any full undercurrent system. Plus air pump, water pump, etc. If you get a bare bones kit it's just buckets and piping. I did the DIY version, but went w undercurrent for the bulkheads. Don't get the kit w the uniseals... Go w the bulkheads, no leaking, no lining to put together, no bs or frustration. The bulkheads have 3 seals. (2 o ring and a flat washer) well worth the extra $ if going DIY. Oh and the newer undercurrent buckets are black, that's the kits w the bulkheads.

Meta, don't skip on a chiller. It'll save you a ton of headaches. You need lots of disolved oxygen, you ghet that w the right res temp. I setup 2 systems and use wort chillers ( a home brew item) daisy chained together so i can have 1 chiller doing both systems. Plus you need to plan on either a sterile res. or a bacterial one. You'll find guys w opinions on both schools of thought.
