Its my first time growing and i am growing in coco
while searching today for an answer to my plant problems i noticed that i am using fox farms soil trio instead of the hydro trio.
is this going to create a big issue? Ive heard to treat it as hydro as far as ph but does that include nutrients as well?
im having some plant problems so this may or may not be the reason...
ANY advice is greatly appreciated!

Give pics, feeding info/ schedule, and any other things relevant to your grow.
Anything can be compensated for, otherwise soil guys would not be able to use hydro nutes for soil grows.
Part if not most of that is just so they can sell another label.

5 weeks old today
cfls on 24 hrs and soil is coco with a bit of perlite mixed in
as of just today, the newer leaves are getting spots on them. the older ones were very bad but i thought i had the problem corrected.
ph is about 5.5 or low to mid 5's (with chemical test kit so its close but not 100%)
water is caught rain water
feedind as top of coco dries with fox farms trio (soil solution not hydro and still feeding at seedling amounts) < i might need to up this
Also adding
adding calImagIC to the solution

Info on the nutes I'm using taken from their site:

Your ph should be at 5.8 pry better to save up for an actual ph meter it'll help out vs using the tester kit

Yea most test kits IMO become inaccurate with nutrient solution in the mix. There's tons of meters out there just remember you get what u pay for:)
