Ugh...Mold?

So I have some crappy bagseed that I grew out and I wanted to make some hash with these crappy buds but as I look closer at it I think it molded. Is this mold? I should have dried it longer, the whole thing was crispy dry but stems were still bendy...:(

What happens if I smoke that? Also what happens if I make hash from it? Will the mold make it through the screen or just the trichromes? I

lol t heres no mold on that dry mexican sativa bud...... btw sativas dont really mold up. more a dense ass indica problem.

I thought they were way too airy buds to get mold but the little white hairy stuff on the stem made me paranoid lol. Definitely some mexican shwag eh? :D
 
looks like some spicey earthy mexican sativa yeah. it should still get you high, and it looks seedless so its not that bad
 
To answer your question if you have a moldy crop and cant sell it making hash out if is a good alternative. There wont be any mold in the hash. As for smoking mold I've heard some people get upper respiratory infections. However, I've sold moldy bud to a few people and they were fine. I even ended up smoking a blunt of it - didn't inhale cause I wasn't wanting to get sick or anything just in case. It tasted like straight old dust from like a library book. That's what smoking mold tastes like.

Sweet - I'm sitting here right now making hash out of all this bud - I'll post a pic of the end product in an hour or so.

So what is your personal opinion, does it look like mold? Not that I dont believe chitown; I follow his posts all the time and he's spot on :)

But I'd like a unanimous vote that its definitely not mold and that would make me feel good hehe.

I don't think you can make hash with moldy weed, I'm no expert or nothing but, doen't mold destroy thc? And when you make hash you collect all the tricombs (or however it's spelled) and that's what you make hash out of......so if the mold destroys them how would you make hash?

Yeah to make hash you collect the trichomes by passing it through a fine screen. If mold does attach THC then yeah no point making hash but I don't know.
 
Here is what I ended up with. I just ground it up and collected the keif. I could probably pass that pile through again and get more but eh...too lazy.
