just wonderin what kinda luck anyone has had with one of those ufo led 90 watt grow lights, considering buying one just wanna know if its worth it?

do not buy unless you keep you plants 1.5 feet or smaller. They do grow well but no penetration. Better off getting 400w hps. you can fit more plants under it. LEDs are very efficent if youy want to grow lettice.

do you think it would work better if i supliment some compact flourescents around thet plant area? i just wanna grow 5 plants to a descent size nothin to big

maybe but thing is once you plants hit certain height the ufo will only provide enough penetration to illuminate the top cola. i suppose you could do a hella lot of LST. but you bag for you buck right now is in HIDs. 95 percentage of people would agree, and we cant all be wrong. im not saying leds wont be great they just arent yet

I am using mine to veg 3-4 plants. I will switch to hps for flower. I hope ultimatley in the future to go all led. Not for a while prob. 206 has a nice gorw with leds, check out. 206
