Hey guys just wanted to see if we could get some support for this petition. UFC fighter Nick Diaz was suspended 5 years for smoking weed. To put this into context. No fighter has ever been suspended for this long for taking STEROIDS! Not even multiple time steroid offenders. Goes to show that in many places marijuana is still considered just as bad, if not worse than actual harmful drugs. Help out and sign if you can.

We only need 9,000 more signatures, but we need them by Friday.

Didn't he get nailed for testing positive like 8 or 9 years ago too? He knows their rules and they probably threw the book at him because it's not his first offense. I never liked him as a fighter cuz he seems like a dick but if I did like him I doubt I would be any more sympathetic, just dissapointed in his priorities.

That has nothing to to with the fact that he's mentally exhausted and washed up. Great fighter that always got the shit end of the stick. It's over, imo.

He shouldn't get suspended, but I think he should retire. Or at least stop threatening to retire every time he loses a fight.

How can you F'n hypocrites sit back and not stand up for the right to use cannabis? He was banned 5 years for testing positive for cannabis NOT PED's! He might come off as a douche bag but the issue is the use of cannabis and the grievous and unfair penalty he was dealt. People only get 1 year suspensions for testing positive for PED's and they gave Nick 5 YEARS for cannabis????? Those who don't sign this petition are F'n HYPOCRITES! Do have a pleasant evening and remember to buckle up.

Tell me about a fighter that walked all over Nick Diaz (Maybe St. Pierre)??? He might not win them all but he comes to fight and even when he loses, it's a close fight.
