Typical "Nickel" Bag Of Weed?

well usually i don't buy any, because i have my own medicine.

and i'm going to buy for the first time for a friend of mine.

so how many grams are usually in a Nickel Bag? i've heard it can be anywhere between .5 grams - 1 gram. (depending on the person)

so if i cant determine the grams, compared to an object how big would the bag of weed be?

how dense is the bud, what is it's moisture content. That will determine it's relative size

this particular dealer is just normal average joe weed, nothing special, and i'm not really sure how dense the buds are >_<

It doesn't matter what the strain, typically the top buds will be compact and dense, meaning more weight per cubic inch, and the lower buds are airier and weigh less for their size. For $5 of weed though, i really wouldn't care that much to make sure i'm getting my money's worth, for that money i'd be expecting nothing more than a joints worth, if that, i plain wouldn't bother picking up. Do you not have any of your own weed you can give your friend?

i think that he's just planning on rolling just one joint out of it. and no i have none of my latest harvest left =[ i'm currently waiting for the next to come in.

if its just shwag and you can get two good joints out of it, you did ok.
