I see tying plants down to increase yield outdoors mentioned alot. Can someone point me in the direction of a how to or maybe explain?

thanks

Theres plenty of info on the internet my boy...just google "LST cannabis "

But basically you just want to tie down growing tips to let light hit the lower parts of the plant more efficiently. Theres really no wrong way to do it. You can stake into your soil with hooked stakes to hold branches down or you can tie the branches down to the lip of your pot.

I tied down the main tip and led it around the lip of my pot, tying side branches down as i went until i had ran out of room, then transplanted and retied...a couple weeks before August (expected flower times) i untied them and they are doing great. You eventually get this!

Hey I bought a few of these http://www.amazon.com/12-Ft-Rubber-Coated-Flex-Plant-Wire/dp/B005CJ43D4
(but they were at the dollar store!) and for those doing LST grows or even for that large ass plant that needs to be stretched down or out these are great.

Dude i use those same type of wires. They work awesome! no cutting into the stems, they hold well, and are really pliable. I got mine at target though for $1 when it was in season. They dont have em anymore though, should of stocked up! Lol

Yeah the stuff they get there is in limited amounts and varies store to store.. I really should have bought more then 5 but it is reusable and 60 feet of it can last!

This has nothing to do with low stress training that's just supporting your plant

Pulling (bending) a branch back to tie it to a stick sure sounds like a low stress way of training your plants to doing something you want it to do to me.
