Two hps?

I currently have a 4x4 tent . I have 2 400w hps/mh dimmable ballasts with reflectors not hoods. My temps stay around 78-82 with lights on. Rh 55 for vegging My question is will it be more benificial to use one mh bulb and one hps bulb or continue using two hps?

my personal opinion is mixed spectrum is better. but to each their own.

Thats what i was thinking too. But i wanted more opinions before i went changing stuff.

In a few weeks when its time to flower imma switch it back to two hps. Its been two days since ive changed it and i can tell a huge difference in growth. Im thinking the mixed sprctrum is good for veg whereas everyone knows hps pruduces better flowering. Any more opinions?

i've heard you want a 3:1 ratio of mh to hps. yield decreases when using mh but quality supposedly improves. i'm not really sure of anything this is just what i've heard and it sounded right.

i like side lighting (HOT5) in the blue spectrum and an hps above
if i were in your situation id do 1 of each, and put red spectrum t5's as side lights

U use these during vegetative state?...I'll bet they stretch.
