two headed plant... no topping

I have a white widow with two heads that I did not top. After its first set of fan leaves the main stem split into two separate heads.

Is this an uncommon thing to happen? I've never heard of it. I may be crazy but if I bred this plant with another would the resulting plant be "auto topped"? I doubt it, but I thought I would ask anywho.

Thanks people bongsmilie

yeah its totally possible man i have no clue how it happened to my plant. same thing though, first set of real leaves came in and then the next node was two nodes in one. exactly like it had been topped! totally strange.

Here are some photos for you guys. Twin is growing way more uniform than my mutant plant haha.

Those are Bubba Kush in the flowering closet 3 weeks along.

Don't mind my girlfriends butt in the first picture

fuck yes!!! dude ur only like the third person ive seen with a natural untopped twin. i really wonder what causes this shit. yours and my plant both it's so obvious it is a 100% natural occurance but the question is why and how? and what effect does it have on the plant? the same as an unnatural pruning would? my twin bushed out insanely and has over 20 multi-budsite colas rising now besides the main two without any training.

If its female you have been blessed!! My hubby had one that did that then it turned out to be male it was so sad :-( But they are rare but happen and usually you get a lot more bud production!! Its a good thing congrats!!:bigjoint:

It really is so fascinating. One head stays a little taller than the other as it grows, like yours did. It is so weird, one of the bottom fan leaves is made by two stems that are connected. the stems separate and each have three leaves, if that makes any sense.. ===< its sort of like that ha ha. All the growth on this plant is very very strange. I am checking your page frequently, she looks soo good. congrats

And thank you Maia, I am sorry to hear yours turned out to be a male... I am keeping my fingers crossed for mine, but honestly I don't have the best feeling about this one. I planted two seeds from the same batch at the same time and the other widow showed her sex over a week ago, still nothing on old two head. There are a ridiculous amount of shoots like you said!

How can you tell if it is a female?
