Can anyone tell me if i can wire a pc fan to a house outlet or do I have to run them off a 12 volt battery the whole time.

Can anyone tell me if i can wire a pc fan to a house outlet or do I have to run them off a 12 volt battery the whole time.
Cut the end off of an old cellphone charger and use that. Do NOT try and wire to an outlet LOL
