Trying to get away from Halide 1000 W for Veg - thinking more CFL - Suggestions?

I have 10 x 14 room with white walls and floors. Running 6 veg girls in big pots with 2 bulb T8s on each side 6500 K and 1000 watt halide 6500 K plus 23 watt 5000 K Ecosmart CFL BR 40 spot (Cree copy) with 1100 lumens.

I really am interested in phasing out the 1000 watt Halide for veg if possible. I am looking at LED COBs for flower too. The plants really seem to love the CFL light. I know the T8s are weak. Each 2 bulb T8 fixture is using 68 watts and putting out about 5900 lumens.

Any suggestions to phase out the halide in the middle? 8 bulb T5 with 4 ft bulbs? 5 CFL spots in the middle of the room? Thanks.
