Trunk5's needs advise on baby plants please.

ok guys last night were my plants first night under the mh. and they look a little off, the temps were between 85 and 86 all night, now i have the door open and its at 83.

idk if it was just they were starting to dry out or if there missing something?

also i need advise on when to start a dark period with them, and how long untill i put the main 4 plants into there 2gal homes?

Also the space there in with the 400watt mh is 21.5 inches wide, 31 inches deep, and 46 inches high. temp is at 83 now and no more then 87 with the door closed. well thinking about it and what ive read since the smaller ones want to back way from the light i know that there not able to keep up with the light at this point in time so, i put them neer my patio window to get sun while i put my cfl's in back up top.

does this sound about right?

ok i got them all back under the cfl about an inch away from the bulbs and they started to have a positive response. so it was a case of the plant giveing off too much water when the root base wasnt strong enough yet. the leves wanted to curl down and way from the light... now there starting to come back.
