Trump says take your subpoenas and shove them up your ass.

On Friday Trump and the WH sent a 8 page letter to the Congressional oversight committee stating that they will refuse any and all subpoenas pertaining to the Congressional investigations of his phone call to the President of Ukraine, saying essentially suck my dick to Congress.
Why not, he did it before with his Wall funding, ignoring the will of the people whom the majority believed it wasn't needed.
I tell you what, this guy has some balls to even come up with this response.
It's looks like he is going to fight tooth and nail even if that means circumventing the Constitution and the rule of law
Come on Congress, do your fucking job and kick this POS to the curb, the fate of the USA depends on it.

He is forcing the Democrats to impeach him and let it be Senates problem. I would like to know if the House could impeach him, and immediately turn around and start a second impeachment trial into the other stuff that he is obstructing while that is going on. Hammer him on two fronts, one behind closed doors in the House and the public one in Senate. And as soon as the first in Senate is done, the next drops on Mitch's desk.

I think that would be counterproductive. It would play into Trimp's claim of a witch Hunt.

Yep, they could charge him and hold trials for Donald until election day, there are enough impeachable offenses to go around for dozens of trials. If Mitch found him not guilty and refused to do another senate trial, he would have to live with Donald completely off the leash, and we've seen but a taste of that so far. Next he will be ordering the arrest and summary execution of members of congress, or he would just hire hitmen and pardon them. He can shoot somebody on 5th avenue after all and lose no votes from the base, that person could be a member of congress, or even another presidential candidate. If he chose Vald as his running mate in 2020 (what constitution?), he would still have their support for the cutting of their own throats, just like he is cutting their throats now, while they merrily sing his praises. The faithful have their eyes closed, their ears plugged and their hearts have have been rendered useless by fear, hate & greed. There is not a wise man or woman among them, they have all made themselves fools..

Mitch says he wants the trial before Christmas, he's gonna fuck Donald and let the base have a year to get over it. If they don't vote for the GOP, the brown folks will take over completely, Obama would be a pleasant memory for the base, compared to what would happen with a democratic hat trick and landslide in 2020. The base would be terrified of such a result, the GOP ads will make them fearful and motivated, Donald leading the GOP into 2020 is a non starter for Mitch, the senate would be gone for sure. He will have a million death threats in his email and on his answering machine after convicting Donald, but where else are these racist assholes gonna go, other than stay home and lose even bigger in 2020.

Also Nancey has Mitch and his wife over a barrel on corruption, if he loses power in the senate. Pence is likewise at her mercy and they will pay a price by selling out their base for future presidential pardons after 2020. She will have a lot more on these clowns than Trump ever did, he could put them out of power, she can keep them out of jail, they will dance to her tune until 2020. Donald will leave a disaster for the GOP and too much to clean up, the base is of the party is poisoned with hate and fear. Pence won't run in 2020 and no GOP lunatics have emerged to challenge Trump yet, they will come out of the woodwork after he is removed from office.

The election in 2020 will be a choice between national suicide or survival, if Trump is still POTUS by then, it would be the death of America if he were elected. If he is not removed from office soon, he will destroy America before 2020, or do whatever else Putin orders, Donald either can't see the end game here, or has a ticket to Moscow punched for services rendered.

I see only three possibilities, death, prison, or Moscow on AF1 before the senate trial begins, after it begins, it might be too late. They would rush a conviction in minutes if they got wind of an unscheduled AF1 flight, and remove him from office before he got out of Canadian airspace. (the GOP would be most willing then!) The air force pilots would be eager to return to Washington with the former president and private citizen, the FBI would be waiting with handcuffs at the airport, if the secret service didn't cuff him on the plane first..

A lot of people like chaos and vote for it, they don't take elections and politics seriously. Their blueprint for elections is HS class president elections. They get their news from FB. They don't watch broadcast news, but see YT clips of Hannity on FB. They probably got D's in civics class in school.

If everybody shows up to vote, Trump will be crushed. If they thought anyone who gets elected becomes 'presidential' in his demeanor by default, now they know better. Maybe.

I remember some republican friends saying in 2016, 'at least he can't be bought because he's rich'.

I don't think they quite understand where his new money came from, or why he keeps his tax returns and cash assets secret.

I'd love to have a history book from 2040, after 2/3 of his base is dead.

There's also an obvious problem with elections here when you can lose by 3 million and still sneak in through the bathroom window, leaving shit all over the floor.

Nixon had to resign after he covered up his people breaking into the DNC. Mueller issued a 448 page report detailing how an adversary foreign government, always in contact with the Trump campaign, broke into DNC computers and put private emails on wiki leaks while Trump went on TV asking for more. And he continues to this day asking for foreign involvement.
