Trimming from veg and flower any THC?

I hear a lot of people using fan leaves and male plants to make hash on here but a friend of mine keeps telling me they hold no THC and worthless to use at all.

So I need an expert to inform me of what exactly I should be saving and what I should throw out. Currently I have thrown out all the fan leaves I have pruned during veg.

I know I can use the leaves that are manicured off the bud during harvesting but anything else?

THC is only produced in the trichomes. i've seen pics of male pollen sacs covered in trichomes.

someone should take strictly fan leaves and test this theory.

I've seen trichs on stems, leaves, petioles, sacs (as mentioned above). Just chop it all up, and throw in the hash machine. What do you have to lose?

All of my crappy leaf stems etc. get chucked in the coffee grinder and then sieved a few times.
I ended up with this from the last lot by using a normal flower sieve first and then a tea strainer.
I put the seed in their for a laugh.
Nothing amazing i know but better than a load of old leaf and stem and fairly strong to be honest.

did u have them dry when u put em in the grinder or fresh?

I have retained only the leaf portion, (fan, tops, etc) not stems or branches, etc. I have a VERY low tolerance....but I like the stone from this material.....relatively subtle, and short lasting....but no groggy aftereffect at all.....I sorta like it...dpends on where when why....theoretically, and empirically measured....the amount of cannabinoids generally increases with level (up) in the plant. hyowever, even roots have cannabinoids....which when influenced with uv light turns to thc.....

Thanks for your replies everyone.... based on the what you've said I guess it's worth it to save the whole plant at harvest and see if I can get some hash outta them.

It was well dry to say the least and most of the leaf was browned.
All stone and not to much thc ill expect but still better then toking on old leaf
