Trimming fan leafs question *pics*

Iv been working on some outdoor crops and im starting to consider trimming away some fan leaves. looking for people's opinions, yes/no

My plants grew tall and now that they started to bud they started filling in. The buds seem to love the light. Big buds on the outside, smaller on the inside. My plants are really close together and Im afraid they are starting to choke each other out.

my plan is to trim fan leaves to allow more sun to access the buds on the plant. I am asking if this is a good idea or not.

Suggestions, opinions, idea's even critasicm is welcome

I would trim some but not a shit ton, you dont wanna stress the plant.

Good idea. Trimming away some leaves is beneficial. It lets light penetrate deeper into the plant... getting more light to your buds. Don't go overboard.

cut some and bend some out off the way, tie them if need be..... high times

Thanks for the reply's guys! The big 3 plant(s) is a monster 6ft + and only just started budding.
I really like the bending idea, lots and lots of work ahead.

gettting light to your buds doesnt do a damn thing. trimming it a little to get light to other leaves deeper in the plant will be gud. and get you sum nice lowers

i like trimming less than 50 percent of the fan leave. Its still produces power to the bud site but gives extra penetration. Nice plant

Trimming the fan leaves really opened the plants up. I can tell them apart from each other now! Thanks guys patiantly waiting for my own smoke. Its like fishing you appreciate it that much more if you do it (catch it) yourself

...now what to do with all the clipped fan leaves

Use the leaves for homemade Cookies. Use 1 part dry fan leaves, ground to dust by a blender, with 4 parts instant oatmeal cookie mix (about a gram of leaf dust per cookie). Bake at 325 degrees.
