triming roots

I have a plant in a 5 gal bucket dwc.the roots are taking over the bucket and im 3 weeks into flower.would it hurt to trim the roots now or should I just let it alone,the plant takes in about a gal. per day so I know its feeding.Im just worried that with all those roots in there its going to cut down on the bubbles. any advice would help thanks
 
you will be fine unless your roots are taking up the WHOLE bucket i wouild leave it.how long did you veg for? 8 weeks or less and you will be good to go.
 
I veged for about 5 or 6 weeks,my notes got misplaced so Im just guessing but I know it wasnt anywhere close to 8 weeks.thanks for the advice,I will leave it alone for now I was just worried that the root mass would prevent my water from being oxygenated,but as long as its still taking water everyday then I guess all is well. peace and grow on
