trim or not to trim??

ok i have this plant and it kinda stoped growing so i transplanted it to a bigger pot and still nothing its like growing new leafs at the bottom but not growing any up top (the main cola) so should i trim the new leafs??? thanks in advance

You should leave it alone. Your dirt needs more perlite, next time add about 50%. Leaves are the food factories for the plant and the more food it has the bigger it can grow. Give it some time and make sure you aren't over watering.

ok cool thanks im watering every 2-3 days or when the soil is crusty on top

i also topped it about a week and a half ago so could that also contribute to it growing slow
