Well I will tell you this, I worked with a guy that OD'd on xanax. He wasnt tryin to kill hisself either, just ate 1 too many blue footballs. Him and a buddy were drinkin and they both passed out...when my other buddy woke up 3 hrs later he was dead in his recliner. If you do xanies, just dont over do it!!

Yes I take these two medications together and I don't have any bad side effects other than some trouble sleeping but I am a night owl and have been my entire life so its normal for me. It's the only thing that has helped. I take it at night together at the same time but sometimes on the Xanax I just take a 1/2 depending on my anxiety and the Trileptal helps with my mood and other disorders.

That post was 11 years ago and OP died from an OD of those drugs.
But that is just me my neurologist put me on this medication. But everyone is different and medication affects everyone differently.
I don't abuse my medication and I take such a low dose like 150 mg Trileptal and 0.25 Xanax. I was just googling it to see if anyone else took this. but I have been taking it for 15 years.
