trichomes help please

Alright
I'm on roughly 3rd week into 12/12
I realized that my 600 watt dimmable was at 300watt,
Raised the light 6 inches and cranked it to 450
Next Day I have dark trichomes on some buds closer to the light

Please help

If it's as sudden as that -- more juice to the light one day and dark trichs the next -- then you likely toasted them. Oops, but not much you can do about it now, assuming you've already raised the light. C'est la vie.

what's the total distance from the top of the plants to the light? is it a bare bulb/ hood/ or air cool? Im with the other poster above me, you roasted the trichs. Your in your third week so I wouldnt worry to much
