Trichomes color on autos?

I'm on day 85 of a supposed 90 day cycle, and although I have some really nice looking buds, I have no amber trichomes. Is this normal in an auto? They appear cloudy, hairs are mostly red, and they look ready. Do autos tend to not change trichome color as much as normal plants do? Just not sure what to do.

I don't have a way to take trichome pics, but here are a couple of buds

Which is usually all you need anyway.

They looks healthy for 85 days, good job. They are at a stage where it's mostly just a personal preference. You could let them go for the remaining 5 days and some of those white pistilled calyxes might swell up some more.

Nice looking plants bro. You did a great job keeping them green and healthy till the end.

Like sativied said, you are at the point of personal preference. If it was me I would probably let the swell a lil more but it's your plant. If you have more than one that are the same maturity, chop one now and wait on the other one so you can see the difference so you know better what to do next time.

Thanks so much for the comments. Tomorrow may be the day. I have two. Looks like it's down to decision time. The better half is ready for them to go away. Might sway my decision :)
