trichome amber question

what are your thoughts on this?

it's an outdoor plant and the temps here in my country is pretty high though (30+ celcius right now in the summer)

Trichomes go through 3 stages of development: 1-st = clear (not ready yet). 2nd= cloudy (most pick when 80-90% are cloudy) 3rd= amber. Imo, only Indicas are worth the "extra-squeeze" for mostly amber. Remember, the 3rd stage also means the trichs are DEGRADING (along with the THC). Try to go for as many cloudy as possible. This is optimal peak-potency, Hope this helps. PS- Cannabis can tolerate 30+ celcius (Spain?), just make sure you give them PLENTY of water when it's so hot.

No, your main concern are the heads. Stalks also contain terpenes but generally (ime) do not change color. Your IDEAL harvest would have 100% CLOUDY heads. This never happens, but you can get really close (80-90%). Peace-

Hey man, if you're growing under lights, make SURE you provide at Least 50w/sq.ft in the correct spectrum. (I'm using CFL's as an example). If you have good ventilation and room, you can try to reach 100w /sq.ft and those colas will be FAT & dsipping with resin. Go for an HID Lamp (HPS/MH) If you can. Peace -
