Traumatic experience a reason not to trip?

So, long story short, this past Friday my VW Beetle decided to eat the back of a semi (one of those 18 wheeler things.) Needless to say my car is totaled and I came out with a tiny scratch and some shaken nerves. Just looking for some personal experience from members. Have you guys ever had something happen that was brought back when you tripped? I feel fine physically and mentally and I don't plan on tripping for the next month or so. Just wondering if a previous experience has ever come up and turned a trip bad for someone.
 
i have been in more wreaks than you, and they did not affect my tripping experience.

BUT. In the long run, it is always about the individual themselves. Only you will know for sure if you will regress during a trip. I, myself, have not done so.
 
Thanks, I just wanted some reassurance. I have a pretty strong mental will but drugs being drugs, you cannot control them and must respect them

respect is key.

but i have been in two serious car crashes, and a cpuple not so serious on my motorcycles. one i shattered my right kneecap and broke my tibia and fibula in my left leg. the other broke the tib/fib in my right leg.

they did not affect my tripping experiences as far as i can tell. although that liquid morphine button they give you at the hospital gave me the most fucked up experiences on opiates in my lifetime. Apparently I was talking to people who weren't there and shit. I do not remember much of it. The bad accident was when i was in highschool over 10 years ago and i traded all my oxycontin for weed.
 
bad trips are basically saying you are not ready for psychoactive substances.
but they are ALSO saying that someday soon...you will be ready for them.

bad trips are NOT saying that psychedelics are not for anyone.

hallucinogens will soon turn into entheogens...
 
brings me back to nights of riding my yami high on shroomz...street lights looked like they were goin 100mph..but i was only goin like 25 lol

i wouldn't let it ruin your fun..a trip is a trip!

i did have a bad trip once tho..was one of the last times i ever dropped lsd....still dunno what happened that night..musta been in a wrong state of mind
 
i was on my way to the freedom fest in tappen lake oh. idk some 15 years ago or more i think and was tired so i pulled in the rest area to sleep. my woman at the time said she would drive and did not want to sleep. fell asleep at the wheel and drove me into a concrete bridge enbankment at 75mph. i still made it to the fest and tripped and everything else. all was well. esp being i was single again
 
yeah dizzle i have had bad trips 3 in my life 2 of which i dont remeber. but i do remeebr something not clicking right right away in my head and knowing i had to get out into the woods. and it had nothing to do with my mood or amount taken. i have eaten assloads of cid and 2 of the bad 1's were from 1 hit. idk what it was the gears just didnt turn right

yeah i never figured it out iether lol....gotta be something bad tho LOL
 
i think its something chemical im not sure. but all 3 times i knew within 20 min something wasnt clicking right. and the 1 is still an open wound in my mind 20 years later. i remeber it like it was yesterday. i even remeber the hits red sperm cells. and i ate them again with no ill effects
 
My PTSD (caused by a car accident) acts up when ever it feels like it. I have been heavily medicated and still fell victim to the panic attacks and distorted reality. when i did cubes it didn't happen however it just may not have surfaced at that time either.
