Transplanting?

Hey all:)

Ive recently started to grow outside, using pots which are not very big what so ever, being smaller i thought they would be good to start out with..
Is it risky to transplant a plant into the ground after say a few weeks in the smallish pots?

Thanks in advance

Jess

yeah wait about two and half weeks after they pop up, and make sure they are healthy. If your using seeds and growing outdoors you may want to repot in bigger pots before planting in the ground. If you need more info check out the different HOW TO threads on this site, they should have most of the information you need... if not just ask, and some one with experience should be along to help you sometime.... happy growing...

I wait till they get about an inch and a half to transplant. Then I give em a tiny bit of fish emulsion and it seems to keep them from going into shock. You dont have to use fish emulsion but anything high in nitrogen.
