Transplanting question?????

JUST GROW IT

I just transplanted my babys, should I water them now or wait a day or 2????
I did give them a little water earlierbecause they were pretty dry and I didn'tget a chance to transplant this morning. Dads 739.jpg

water asap, the transplants should have been somewhat wet upon transplant and presoaked with a b vitamin supp and some root inocs for best results. Little superthrive always helps as well. Fool proof...

When you do water babies like that, get a turkey baster and don't water right around the stem and the roots will chase a bit for you. the turkey baster gives you good control, thinks sips not gulps. Did you soak or prewet the medium/soil you transplanted into? If so, I would give them a little time before watering.

OK sounds good I'll d that rt now
Thanks alot

some answers given could be misleading, your babies must be watered upon transplant. Your roots should not touch a dry medium and left for any amount of time. dry roots are dead roots...

Thanks so much, I did water them about 2hrs before transplanting and the soil was still wet.

ur good man dont stress out. i transplant the same way u did it with out any extra shit and my plants never had probs, i have had root balls crumble in my hands and the plant are fine after a day or two growing just like before

yep, it's standard to water after transplant. You don't need to flush or anything, just make sure it is all evenly moist throughout.

See someone told me to water outside the roots so I don't drown them.

It really kinda depends. In soil that is well mixed and drains well, this wouldn't be much of a concern. Just don't overdo it. You do want moisture out toward the edges as well because you want it to stretch those roots out, but you also don't want the tap root drying out, that will damage it and as a seedling it doesn't have much backup yet.
