Transplanting some clones to the start of there life in 1 gal buckets, with FFOF was wondering how do i water them? how much water do i use i should say?

you want to water them thouroghly when you transplant, between 1/2 to 1 gal of water should work. make sure you water slowly and evenly so you saturate all the medium and make sure your containers have good drainage so excess water can drain out.

WOW 1/2-1gal of water per plant??? (there going to be transplanted in to 1gal of Fox farm ocean forest) just by eye? and they do i think? im going to drill a couple quick small holes in the bottom so they have good drainage.

In a one gallon pot you will only need 1/2 gal tops, just water evenly and slowly. But it is true that you want to soak the soil thoroughly for a transplant. If you have burn issues in full FFOF be sure to just mix it up next time with some Happy Frog or Light Warrior. I never go full strength until final pot.

and i have 4 clones

just water the soil really well before you put them in there it should be heavy compared to a pot with dry soil do a feel comparison.

after the soil is already saturated and leaking out bottom, stick 2 fingers in make a hole for the clone (your fingers should feel really wet soil all the way down

if your pot has drainage... technically you cannot OVER WATER... as long as all the drainage doesnt sit in the tray your pot sits on, dump the excess right away. i water my plants under the sink, soak up the entire soil - let them drain for 15 minutes each, then pop them back under the lights.... i also used half gallon grow bags brotha ;) enjoy - also, remember the weight of the whole pot and soil when its dry ( in your head) and then when its just watered... then wait for it to feel as light as it did when it was completely dry again ( if u use bags... it should honestly feel almost like a feather... less than a pound)
