Transplanting clones from hydro to soil

So here's the deal guys, I grow with hydro and aeroponics only, my cloner is a bubble cloner and flower is aero. I'm going to be rooting some clones for a buddy of mine which grows in soil. My question is, when do I want to take clones out of bubbler and put into soil? I've read that if the roots are too long the soil may shock the clone and it may not take to the soil and that it's better to transplant to soil when the roots are short with no feeders, can anyone confirm or add any input to this?

I just made a bubble cloner recently. I transplanted my very small clone to soil with about two 3/4 inch roots with feeders started. All the info I can give

Longer roots are no problem. Suggest adding Mykos into the hole it goes in.
