Transplanting an Autoflower

What if you had to transplant an autoflower? Say you accidently started them in too small of pots, what would happen if you transplanted them? Would they still do ok in the end? Maybe take a bit longer to finish but thats it? And when would you transplant them? When you figure out if there male/female, or before? Just wondering, thanks.

anyway.... yes you can transplant an autoflower, i just did with a diesel ryder. i will prob try to avoid having to do so from now on. autos mature at a certain age no matter the light cycle, and any time the plant has to focus on recovery and not new growth, it will hinder the final product. so if you can,,, plant in something big enough for the whole grow
