depends on your light and head space my first was 400 watt hps now i am going 1000 and bigger pots stick with the 4 this run get a feel for it then increase next run

Damn, why are transplanting now, sure dig them, and repot them up to their suckers in that same solo cup, then keep them in there for 2 weeks, then go to a gallon, for 3 weeks, then and only then, put them in thier final 4 gallon pot, then give them two weeks before you flip them. That's only way to do it, because you want the plants to have as much fresh soil during the stretch, because as new roots grow, the lower internode branches will explore creating more tops. In other words, if the plant doesn't have adequate soil space to freely grow new roots during the stretch you will always end up with less tops, lower internode branches that should have been tops, but won't be tops, because there wasn't enough soil space for them to reach the canopy!

you need to move the light closer, but not close enough to burn them. and those led lights can burn at a distance as ive just found out from my hindu kush clones
