Transplant from cup ??

Forgive me if this has been asked before , but when is the correct time to transplant seedlings that's been germed from seed from cup to pot ? Do I go on weeks of growth? Or size of seedling ?

P.s this is my second indoor grow the first time I planted straight from sprout to final pot and I think I fudged it up as for speed of growth I think

There's no formula and lots of options/variables but typically I'm in a party cup for 4 weeks or so, then up-pot to 1gal pots until they sex, then up-pot to 2/3/5 gal depending on how long I want to veg.

No prob, 4-5 weeks is pretty typical, always some slower, some faster. As long as they're looking healthy in the cups I let them go as I normally have many on the go.
