Transplant and top? Or to far along?

So I got some auto flower white widow seeds decided to start in a smaller pot then done a bunch of reading about transplanting... got alot of mixed signals...
Should I or should I not transplant and if so tips to lessen the shock? And also wondering if I should top? I am also 2 weeks in, day 14 today

I always top my autos, usually between 14-21 days old. No experience with transplanting but I plan on doing it in a couple weeks, was short on space so I had to use small pots to get them started. A friend of mine always transplants autos from a solo cup into their final pot with no issues.

my only problem is I started in bigger then a solo cup... and I am worried the soil will all fall apart... thanks lund-o I will top when I figure out if I am transplanting or not... should I do both the same time or give it a day or two apart?

Transplant: I would water it well to hold dirt together, cut the cup down both sides gently w/ razor blade or sharp scissors

A few days after transplanting, maybe 5 days, I would top.

I've only grown Autos they've given me for free but I've topped them all with one exception and they all grew fine, big & bushy
Good luck

Thanks beachWalker... it's a hard plastic pot hopefully a utility knife will cut threw the side

Oh I thought it was a cup well you can water it to hold the dirt together like mud (some like it dry, not me) and you kind of roll it to loosen it from the sides, tip it upside down and slap the bottom litely

make sure the stem is between your fingers so you don't bend it, it should drop right out for you, you might have to tap the bottom a second time, have the new pot filled and ready to go then just be careful and try to disturb the roots not too much

Once I have it transplanted I water the whole pot very well and then I don't water it again for quite some time, good luck

I transplanted it and was going well then it kinda fell apart when I just got it in the new pot... added soil and then watered it... looks good but by the am I should know if I really shocked it or not

It happens, sometimes it happens to me with seedlings because I start them in perlite/vermiculite, it should be okay, give it a few days. When I started in growing I knew nothing about Autos so I was tossing them around like regular plant, topping transplanting twice, forget about it! ..but still got about 3 oz per plant from autos!

The first two pics are of a Mephisto Alien Vs Triangle at 7 days from germ in a solo cup that was transplanted into a 5 gallon grow bag. the 3rd photo is one week later, or 14 days from germ. Looking at yours I would transplant asap before those roots start to circle.

Autos are overthought when growing ... keep it simple , comes into play.

Use the dynagro 2 part grow and bloom ONLY .
YOU WILL NOT SEE ANY BENEFIT by dumping multi bottles into it.

Cal mag is about the only other SUPPLEMENT you will use , on occasion.

Led / blurple grows will have you use up to 30% LESS in feeding than with other light systems , led grows do not transpire as fast as with say hps lights. Overwatering with LED grows is very common, since it does not dry as quickly between ( unless you are growing in SOILESS ) which may need more frequent.

Keep ppm ( dynagro ) around 600 during its SHORT VEG STAGE .
Autos should just be planted in final container size and No need to grow in solo or smaller pot.

Autos WILL transition around week 5 or 6 .... sex will show / pistils.

The worst thing you can do is research this stuff on web forums. A lot of the "experts" on forums like this one are newbies and novices who routinely dispense bad advice, or unwittingly go around repeating myths about growing.

For growing autos I would refer you to the mephisto grow guide.
