if a person was using 23w cfl bulbs for their grow and had all daylight spectrum for their veg cycle and was going to swap to warm white spectrum for flower does anyone have an opinion (of course) about transitioning the bulbs over a 2 week time...say last week of veg and first week of flower...say switch 1/4 of them wait 3 or 4 days then switch 1/4 and so on?...wouldnt that imitate the suns cycle a little closer?...i mean isnt the whole point of changing lights is that people are trying to mimick the sun as much as possible?...any thoughts?criticism?:?:

cfl does not mimic the sun in any way my opinion is no benefit

You can grow with great success using cfls.
Some people don't have an extra $90 to spend on thier hydro every month. Living in a large city, outdoor growing is not an option. I like not having to run Vents/fans, all that extra heat control. And gotta love the hydro bill. :blsmoke:

I would love to set up a small hydro system with CFLs/tubes.
Keep in mind I only have 3 plants, and 6, 7 day olds in a 1'x1'4''x1'10'' veg box (Thanks to CFLs!) They need alot of adjusting but fuck any excuse to look at those plants (purple kush) is cool by me.

Theres so much great info on forum,

I did alot of research before/as I started, alot of people have used CFL and gotten huge yeilds.

I read somewhere on here to go half and half for the first week of flowering, then phase the rest of the daylights out... but i could be wrong.

man you cfl people are a defensive bunch do you think it could be lumen envy?
im kidding put the stones down the original question was whether or not a slow transition from veg lights to flower lights would be useful to which i replied no benefit by the way ill be moving soon and will probably be growing cfl myself
