Transferring plants

Hi everyone,
So I accidentally sprouted up a plant in my back yard. Now I have never grown before and this is the first I have ever even seen a plant growing. I would love to bring the plant inside and continue growing from indoors but I am the biggest newbie there is. So I guess my first question would be what is the best way to transfer the plant from outside to indoors without compromising the plant

Depends how tall it is?dig around it and lift it out of the soil,support the roots,fill your container so the roots set in the soil and hold the plant,fill the rest of the pot with in 1" of the rim...now use some 6.5 ph water and flood the top of the pot while holding onto the plant,press down slightly while the water is soaking in.
Next feeding use a splash of grow to get her green.

I would say that it's about 5 inches tall the only way it could've been planted is from me randomly throwing seeds outside so I'm not sure of the strand or anything
