Transferring from veg to flower - suggestions needed!!

Suggestions needed:

I will be transferring vegged plants to flower and need input on light and timing. The ladies have already been through enough stress, so I don't want to stress them out much more. They are currently under (4) 600w mh lights and going into a room with either (4) 1000w or (4)750w hps. My question is should I transfer them into the light cycle or the dark cycle? I was thinking about letting them bask in the new light for about 12hrs before lights out.

Another question is how do some of you guys adjust nutes during this transfer?

Thanks

Any light given to the plants before the first lights out will only give energy to the vegging process. You can of course do it but all it would accomplish is another 12 hours of vegging before 12/12.

The two general schools of thought regarding ferts is put them in the soil or feed them to the plant manually. If you add alot of nutrients to the flowering soil with extra K for bud growth, you can just transplant them and let them flower for up to 5-6 weeks before any manual feedings. If not, you can give them a fertilization when you start 12/12 with extra K. Extra Potassium at the start of flowering helps let the plants know it's time to bud and prevents a deficiency occurring when flower production begins.

The ladies seem stressed after the transplant. Is it the light and temp change? 600w mh to 750w hps; temp went from 72-85. Had to pick up ladies in order to transfer to another room, is it root damage or just stress?

I did a complete 24 of darkness before bloom and added the first dose of bloom nutes a week before the light switch.. seemed to have worked great. I wouldn't think that your change in lights would have stressed them.. maybe its the roots..

Thats my first instinct, Ole. Most of them have had the roots coming out the bottom of the rockwool for close to two weeks, after only three weeks of veg. They are pretty healthy, thick, and as long as 2-3 inches exposed. If they are not looking better tomorrow, is there any nute I can add for the healing of roots? I know the Tarantula and Pirahna that I have are for root health.

So far they have managed to make it through some rough times, hopefull they pull through, never seen'em weeping so much though.

Thanks

You can get some vita grow.. they have a anti wilt propagation that's really good from what I hear and they're rooting compound rock's.. humboldts roots is good too.. try what ever you can..lol
